Video Transcript:
Have you ever gone through a big change in your life—maybe for good, maybe for bad? Change can be hard! Sometimes it feels like chaos is taking over—like life is completely out of control, and it’s not a good feeling! Some people really can’t stand it.
But there’s good news. No matter what happens—God is in control. He is still in control. The Lord of your life. He is still holding you secure by His powerful love, and even when everything else is falling apart, He stays the same!
I know this is true because Hebrews 6:19 talks about God’s unshakeable commitment to care for us when it says,
This hope—it’s a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into the inner sanctuary of God.
When life feels like it’s a storm, all around, you remember—you’re not standing on the outside of God’s presence, hoping He’ll let you in and protect you. You’re right inside the fortress of His strong, unshakeable, unchanging love. His grace for you, His power in your life—those things—they cannot be taken away from you. When you look to Him for stability, He will not let you be crushed or shaken by the changing tides of life.
Pray with me now. Declare that truth today. You pray…
God, You are an anchor for my soul. You are my safe harbor. Help me to feel the peace and the quietness—the stillness that comes from Your strong love today. Thank You, God, that You never change. Amen.
