The Father’s Love
See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! (1 John 3:1)
“Though I have not seen Him, my heart knows Him. The Holy Spirit has revealed the Father’s heart.
God is a good, good father all the time! I am thankful and blessed. It is an honor to have such a loving Heavenly Father who loves and trusts me.
I’m thankful and blessed for the many new things revealed to my heart. Everyone is valued; everyone is loved by their heavenly Father. I seem to be able to see things through my Father’s eyes. As I look into their eyes I have compassion to see what they’re going through and feel it with them. I want to be a source of hope when others can’t find hope.”
Rebecca was blessed to have an earthly father who loved and adored her and was always there for her.
Rebecca was the favorite to win the London 800m school’s championship, but during the race a competitor pushed her to the ground. In an instant, her Dad ran to help her. Lifting her up in his arms, she was rushed to hospital in an ambulance.
She had broken several ribs and was badly bruised but, even in her great pain, our sweet Rebecca forgave the competitor. After recovering, she trained even harder and went on to become state champion.
We cherish the card that Rebecca hand painted, “Thank you, Dad, for being my rock, and my hero, I’m proud to be your daughter.”

Keep me as the apple of your eye. (Psalm 17:8)
The wonder of the Father’s love for us is overwhelming. He has such an interest in each of us. His word reveals that our relationship with Him is the richest of all relationships.
The relationship with your earthly father may be difficult but you have a Father in Heaven who loves you unconditionally and has promised to never leave you.
In what ways have you experienced the pure love that your Heavenly Father has lavished on you?
