Love God Greatly: Estherনমুনা
One sin issue leads to another, doesn't it? First arrogance and pride, and then Haman's self-seeking scheme snowballs until he won't stop at anything to get what he wants. Haman is so consumed with his self-promotion that his evil plotting slips in without a second thought.
Sin does that in our lives. It infiltrates at such a rapid speed when our defenses are down. When we're self-consumed, our blinders go up, we compromise easily, and evil is masked by all our convincing self-preservation tactics.
Dear God, Forgive us for the ways we've schemed like Haman to get our own ways, not trusting You to provide for what we need. Draw our hearts away from ourselves and the sin that so easily entangles us, and draw us toward what is good and pure in Your eyes. God, keep our eyes fixed on You. Amen.

About this Plan
Esther is an incredible story that reminds us God is always working. From this story, we learn there is no such thing as "coincidence." Though God may seem distant, even absent at times, He is present. God is always with us and at work in our lives, just like He was in Esther's so many years ago.
