chapter sixteen
1and he has also said to the disciples: it was a certain rich man, who has had a steward; and the this one is for him accused become, that he squandered (for) him his possessions. 2and he has him called and said to him: what is this what I hear about you (SG)? render a account of your stewardship; because you (SG) can longer not be steward! 3and the steward has to self said; what shall I do? my lord takes went away from me the stewardship! dig can I not; begging embarrassed I me. 4I know, what I will do, so that when I will removed to be from the stewardship, shall they me welcome in their houses into. 5and he has called to self every one of his the lord's masters of debts, and has said to the first: how much are you owing the lord mine? 6has he said: hundred measure of oil. and he has to him said: take your bill and sit you down and write quick fifty. 7then has he said to an other: and how much you are owing? has the one said: hundred talent wheat. says he to him: take your bill and write a eighty. 8and the lord has praise the unjust steward, because he has wise done; because the children of the this one world are more prudent in their generation than the children of the light. 9and I tell you (PL): make you (PL) friend with the money of unrighteousness, so that when it will give out, should they you (PL) welcome in the eternal dwellings into. 10who it is faithful in the least, this one is also faithful in a many; and who it is unjust in the least, the one is also unjust in a many. 11therefore if you (PL) are not was faithful in the dishonest Mammon, who will you (PL) entrust the true (wealth)? 12and if you (PL) are not was faithful with the other's, who will you (PL) give your own? 13any servant can not serve two masters; because either he will the one hate have and the other love have, or he will self stand fast to one and the other despise do, you (PL) can not serve Hashem and Mammon!
14and this all have the Pharisees heard, who are was money lovers, and have sneered of him. 15and he has to them said: you (PL) are the ones, who justify selves before people, Hashem however knows your (PL) hearts; because the (one) who is lofty with people, is an abomination before Hashem. 16the Torah and the prophets are was until John; from then onwards it is announced the good News of the kingdom of Hashem, and every one follows into therein with force. 17it is however easier, that the heaven and the earth should pass away, than one dot of the Torah shall fall. 18every one, who divorces self with his wife and has wedding with an another, is doing adultery; and who it has wedding with a woman, who is divorced from her husband, this one is doing adultery.
19it was a rich man, who has self dressed in purple and in expensive linen, and has lived day in day out in pleasure and comfort; 20and a certain poor man with the name El'azar is lying before his door full with sores, 21and has longed self to satisfy of the one, what is fell of the rich man's table; but are yet even come the dogs and have licked his sores. 22and it is happened, the poor man is died, and is carried away become of the angels in abraham bosom into. and the rich man is also died and is buried become. 23and in Sheol deepest has he uplifted his eyes, being in sufferings, and sees Abraham from a distance and El'azar in his bosom. 24and he has a shout done and said: Father Abraham, have mercy on you on me and send El'azar, that he shall dip his tip finger in water and me cool my tongue; because I suffer anguish in the this flame of! 25Abraham however has said: child, remember, that you (SG) you have received your good in your life, and El'azar also so the evil; now becomes he here comforted, you (SG) however will be tormented. 26and to the all is between us and you (PL) has been fixed a great abyss, that the (ones), what would wanted pass over from there to you (PL), should it not can, also shall they not come over of there to us. 27has he said: I beg you therefore, Father, that you (SG) you shall him send in the house of my father; 28because I have five brothers; so that he shall them warn, that they should also not come to the this place of anguish! 29Abraham however says: they have (law of) Moses and the prophets; should they them hear. 30and he has said: no, Father Abraham, but if someone from the dead shall come to them, will they repentance do! 31he however has said to him: if they will not hear Moses and the prophets, will they self also not let persuade, if someone will standing up again from the dead.
