chapter nine

1Saul however did still breathe with threats and outrage against the disciples of the L-rd, and did go to the kohen gadol, 2and from him asked letters to the synagogues in Damascus, so that when he will find any, who hold themselves to this way (Derech Hashem) (Hashem), either men or women, shall he them bring in chains to Jerusalem. 3and while he is traveling, is happened, that when he has himself come near to Damascus, did suddenly a light from heaven him beamed around; 4and he did fall down upon the earth, and heard a voice, which did say to him: Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me? 5did he say: who are you, L-rd? and he (did say): I am Yehoshua, whom you (SG) persecute. 6but stand up, and go inside into the city, and it will (to) you said to be, what you (SG) should do. 7and the people, who did travel with with him, are (afterwards) remain standing without speech (speechless), hearing this voice, and not seeing anyone. 8and Saul did himself lift up/get up from the earth; and although the eyes did themselves it open, did he yet nothing see; and they has him taken by the hand, and led in to Damascus. 9and three days is he was without sight; and did not eat and not drink.

10and in Damascus was a certain disciple with the name Chananyah; and the L-rd did to him say in a vision: Chananyah! and he did say: here am I, L-rd! 11and the L-rd did to him say: stand up, and go to the street, which is calls it the Straight, and search in Yehudah's house Saul with the surname the Tarsi (of Tarsus), because look, he does prayer, 12and had seen in a vision a man, who is called Chananyah, come in and lay on the hands on him, so that he shall again see. 13did Chananyah answer: L-rd, I have heard from many about the this man, how much evil he had done to your kedoishem in Jerusalem; 14also here has he authority from the chief kohenim to bind all, who call on your Name. 15the L-rd however did to him say: go, because he is for Me a vessel desired, to carry my name before the nations and kings and children of Israel; 16because I will him to show what he will have to suffer on account of My Name. 17and Chananyah did go away, and went in in the house, did lay the hands on him and said: brother Saul, the L-rd has me sent, Yehoshua, who did himself to you (SG) reveal on the way, upon which you (SG) were traveling, so that you (SG) should again see and full become with the Spirit the Holy. 18and immediately did fall off from his eyes something like scales, and he did again see, and did stand up and himself allowed immersed be in the mikveh; 19and did take food and himself strengthened.

and he was several days with the disciples in Damascus. 20and did immediately proclaim in the synagogues, that Yehoshua is the Son of the Most High. 21and all, who had (him) heard, did astounded become, and did say: (question) is he then not the this one, who used to destroy in Jerusalem the (ones), who did call upon the this name? and did come here for the same purpose, so that them lead away in chains to the chief kohenim? 22Saul however did himself even more strengthen, and did confuse the Jews, who did live in Damascus, (by) proving, that the this one is the Moshiach.

23and when there are passed a many days, did the Jews themselves conspired him to kill; 24but their plot became known to Saul. and they did even watch the gates by day and by night, so that him to kill. 25his disciples however did him take by night, and lowered from the city wall, letting down him in a basket.

26and when he did come to Jerusalem, did he attempt himself to join to the disciples; and everyone did fear have before him, not believing, that he is a disciple. 27Bar-Nabba however did him take, and led away to the Shlichim, and them tell/report, how he had seen the L-rd on the road, and that he has to him spoken, and how he has with boldness spoken in Damascus in Yeshua's Name. 28and he was with them, a going and coming in Jerusalem, appearing with boldness in the L-rd's name; 29and did speak and himself argue was with Greek Jews; they however did seek him a deed (harm) to do. 30and when the brothers did self find out, did they him lead down to Caesarea and him sent away to Tarsus.

31and the kehile over all Yehudah and Galilee and Samaria did have peace. is built up become; and went in the fear of the L-rd; and through the comfort of the Spirit the Holy did it itself increase.

32and it is happened, while Peter went from place to place, did he also come to the saints, who were dwelling in Lud. 33and there did he find a certain man with the name Aeneas, who was already lying (bedridden) eight years long to bed; because he was paralyzed. 34and Peter did to him say: Aeneas, Yehoshua the Moshiach makes you well; stand up and make you (SG) the bed! and he did immediately stand up. 35and all inhabitants of Lud and Sharon did him see and did self turn back to the L-rd (in believing).

36and in Yafo there was a talmidah with the name Tavita, in a (Greek) translation have they her called Dorcas; she was full with deeds good and righteousness, which she had done. 37and it is to happen in those days, (that) she did sick become and died, and they have her washed and placed in a room upstairs. 38and since Lud is near with Yafo, because the disciples have heard, that Peter finds self there, have they sent two men to him and begged: delay you not to come to us. 39and Peter did stand up and accompany with them. when he is come there, did they him lead up in room upstairs inside; and all widows did themselves stand around around him, weeping and showing him shirts and clothing, which Dorcas had made, when she is still was with them. 40Peter however did everyone send out outside, did bend the knees and prayer did, and self then turned to the body and said: Tavita, stand up! and she did open her eyes, and seeing Peter, did she self sit up. 41and he did her give the hand and she stood up, and called the kedoishem and the widows, and her presented before them a living. 42and this did known become over all Yafo, and a many did believe in the L-rd. 43and it is happened, that during many days is he stayed in Yafo with a certain Simon, a tanner.
