Would you rather get what you want or have God's will done in your life?

Jesus knew everything, so as He prayed on the Mount of Olives, He knew that in just a few hours He would be betrayed, put on trial, tortured, and crucified. While He talks to His Father, He submits to the will of the Father, even though He would have to pay such a high cost. While the sacrifice was great, Jesus' death on the cross paved the way for people to be saved from their sins. There are times in our lives when God's will is difficult and requires sacrifice. However, the center of God's will is still the best place for a Christian to live. It is far better to have difficulty in God's will than to live in comfort outside of the will of God.
