Journey With Jesus 365ናሙና

Matthew chapter 2 tells the story of the visit of the Wise Men from the East, who follow a star to find the newborn King of the Jews, Jesus. They present gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh to Jesus, acknowledging His royal and divine nature. King Herod, feeling threatened by the news of a new king, secretly plots to kill Jesus, but the Wise Men are warned in a dream and return to their country by another route. Afterward, an angel warns Joseph in a dream to flee to Egypt with Mary and Jesus to escape Herod’s wrath. The chapter concludes with Herod's massacre of all male children in Bethlehem under the age of two and Jesus' family's return to Israel after Herod's death.
