DAY THREE: Pray for Your Child’s Heart

Many situations can cause a broken heart in a child, such as physical and mental abuse, divorce, rejection, abandonment, attempted abortion before birth, hatred, or the death of a loved one.

Love and powerful, targeted prayers are the most effective medicine to heal a wounded and broken heart. Make a habit of covering your family with prayers every day.

Father, Your Word gives us counsel not to be anxious but to present our requests before You in prayer with thanksgiving (Phil. 4:6–7). I thank You for Your peace and for keeping my heart and my thoughts during this time of great trials with my children. I surrender them to Your presence, and I believe in my heart that You hear my prayers and You are aware of their coming in and going out.

I have faith that soon You will open a door for their healing and complete restoration of all sickness and attacks of the enemy against their lives. I lift my children up before Your presence, and I pray, believing that You will bring them out of the enemy’s land completely restored. In the name of Jesus I bind every spirit of rebellion and confusion in my children, and I command the blinders on their eyes to come off. In Jesus’ name. Amen!
