The Gospel

Titus 2:11-14 gives us great news: “For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.”

If you feel that you have learned about how to have victory over the world’s lies in this plan, perhaps you are wondering how you can help another person begin a journey of walking with Christ. Here is one simple tool to remember the main steps in helping someone take their first steps toward freedom from condemnation.

We call it the ‘ABC’s of the Gospel.’

A - Admit your wrongdoing, your sin - agree with God that you cannot in any way be perfect (He already knows!). Romans 3:23,“For all have sinned and come short of God’s glory.”

B - Believe that Jesus Christ is Lord – that He died on the cross to pay the penalty for your sins, and rose from the dead on the third day, breaking the power of the enemy’s plan of destruction, so that you can have life forever. You are free through Christ, and no one else can take that away from you! Romans 6:23,“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

C - Commit your life to Him; He’s worth everything - in Him, you are free regardless of what your circumstances are, because you have eternal life, forever. If you live, you win – and if you die, you win. Romans 10:9-10; "If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.”

Reflection: Certainly, we all have sinned and messed up in so many ways. But God has given everything He has, and is, to make a way of escape, giving us a joyful present and a fabulous future. Trust in Him, rest in His power, He will never leave you and is closer than a prayer to your heart. We have victory over the accusations of the enemy by the power Christ, reach out and cling to His strength and let His peace wash over you, now and forevermore!

Thank you for complelting this plan, we hope you will choose to follow the Truth of the words of God every day, and invite you to join us in an e-course called ‘King of Glory’, and also to sign up for our daily devotions at Biblword.net
