21 Days of CelebrationIsampula
Day 10
“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”
Ephesians 3:20-21 NKJV
Question:
What are the things that this scripture inspires excitement for in your life?
Application:
Embracing that we are under no obligation to try and achieve Sonship, right-standing, freedom, or the spirit of God, all because of what Christ achieved on our behalf, allows this passage to amplify an excitement and expectation in our whole being for what God wants to do in our world. We now get to receive what our all-able, extravagant and power-working Father God has to give. It requires a measure of faith for everyday.
Find yourself a measuring tape. Stand it in a prominent place that you will see everyday as a reminder that God can always exceed what you are able to measure.
Prayer:
I receive everything you have done on my behalf, Jesus. With the faith you have in me, I will trust for your extravagant generosity and extravagant purpose in my life. I will continue to celebrate you. May you continue to surprise me. Amen.
