Becoming a Woman of Grace, Faith & Courage: Modern Day Women of the Bible預覽
Introduction
The women in the Bible are meant to encourage us, strengthen our Faith in God, and deepen our understanding of God’s power, to include His vision and plans for the role that women play in advancing and impacting the Kingdom.
Their stories also give us an example of how we can become Modern Day Women of the Bible to be used mightily by God to bring deliverance and salvation to those around us.
In this four day devotional, we will take a look into the lives of Ruth, Hannah, Esther, and Sarah all of whom demonstrated Grace, Faith & Courage.
Let us begin!

Day 1: Ruth
Most of us are familiar with the popular and often quoted love story of Ruth and Boaz. But most of us aren’t familiar with the journey that Ruth decides to take that ultimately led up to her crossing paths with Boaz.
Ruth's husband died and her mother-in-law Naomi could not give her any additional sons. However, she refused to leave her mother-in-law's side. She followed Naomi to Bethlehem where she quietly, humbly, and diligently worked in the field that Boaz owned, yielding to the direction of her mother-in-law every step of the way. Ruth demonstrated a loyal, gentle, and submissive spirit. A reputation that preceded her. It is those very godly qualities that Ruth possessed that caught Boaz’s eye and caused him to favor her. The love story ends with the marriage of Ruth and Boaz. But had Ruth not been a woman of loyalty and kindness she may have never crossed paths with Boaz.
Too often we pray for God to send us our Boaz, but can we honestly say that we have the spirit of a modern-day Ruth?
Do you complain when life doesn’t go according to God’s plan?
Do we truly trust God when He says that all things work together for the good of those who love Him?
These are all great questions to reflect on if you’re believing in God for a true love story (written and produced by Him!).
