When You Fast預覽
Fasting and Supernatural Power
It takes supernatural power to break free from negative parenting patterns and generational trauma, heal that neighborhood momma suffering from mental oppression, and defeat evil powers responsible for child trafficking, molestation, drug addictions, and all manner of evil. We must not simply discuss and accept the enemy’s activities in our societies.
We can serve the world by fasting to access the power that enforces and establishes God’s will in our spheres of influence (our homes and outside our homes). For the Kingdom of God is not just a lot of talk; it is living by God’s power. 1 Corinthians 4:20 (NLT)
Let’s get rid of powerless Christianity—All talk but no demonstration of power. It takes power to effectively address the mental health crisis, poverty, and other global issues. Power brings heaven's touch into situations. We have been given power (Acts 1:8). Fasting and praying are spiritual practices for exploring the dimensions of power God has made available to us. Fasting will launch us into power to establish God’s will in our family life, finances, communities, etc. Jesus, the one we are to imitate (1 Cor. 11:1), completed a season of fast, and Luke 4:14-15 (KJV) revealed what happened after the fast—”Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about. And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all.“
If we want to walk in power, evidenced by our light shining and dominating the powers of darkness responsible for many societal ills, we must fast often. We also need spiritual power to get wealth, access financial intelligence void of corruption, and deal with crimes caused by poverty. “And you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day. Deuteronomy 8:18 (NKJV)
Like Paul, I pray that we will know the exceeding greatness of God’s power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. Ephesians 1:17-21 (NKJV)
We hope you were blessed!
