Everything Praises the Lord

Daily Thought:

Psalms 149 and 150 provide beautiful depictions of the worship of God. In particular, Psalm 150 speaks to the incredible action of singing praises to God. Through song, we worship God in spirit and truth, and creation itself even responds to his greatness.

Scripture Excerpt:

Psalm 150:1-2, ESV

Praise the Lord! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens! Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his excellent greatness!

Prayer Point:

Before praising God today, put on your favorite worship song and sing of God’s greatness out loud. Afterward, take a few moments to acknowledge the aspects of his character you just sang about. Allow the reality of his character to wash over your thoughts and actions.
