Love is comprised of a commitment, an action, and the results of deliberately applying them daily. The commitment part is this. “I care about you and I value all of you. I care about your soul, your spirit, your body, your relationships, your dreams, and your destiny.” The action part is demonstrating care and value in many ways and in many situations as you get to know the person over time. The result is that the person feels and knows that he or she is loved!

• How do you outwardly show value for each of the aforementioned aspects of the person or people with whom you are in relationship?
• Do those people feel safe, valued, connected, protected, and understood?
