Gospel of John Student Devotional预览

In 2025, connecting with people will be harder than ever. It’s one thing to relate to others—maybe we like the same band, the same TV show, or even the same style—but does that mean we’re truly known?
As a student in a public school, I struggle to find people who share my values. Sure, we can bond over music or movies, but when it comes to what matters, I often feel alone. And it makes me wonder—am I in the wrong? Should I change to fit in? Should I be more like the world just so I can belong?
There’s a voice in my head whispering, Give in. It tells me that the easiest way to connect with people is to conform, to accept the world’s version of identity. But here’s the truth: if we look to the world to define us, we will always come up empty.
Maybe you’ve thought, God can save other people, but can he save me? Maybe you feel like your circumstances are too big for Him. But let me tell you something: there is no circumstance too big for God. When Jesus died on the cross, he didn’t just save a select few—he saved everyone.
In this world, we might be known, but we will never be truly found.
Satan knows our name but calls us by our sin. God knows our sins but calls us by our name. He wants all of us—our good days, bad days, past, present, and future. All we have to do is invite Jesus into our storm, our school, our home. We don’t have to “fix” ourselves before coming to Him—that’s one of the biggest lies the world tells us.
God is relentlessly pursuing you. Your sin doesn’t have to hold you back. Your past doesn’t have to define you. He’s been knocking on the door of your life, waiting for you to let Him in.
But here’s the thing—keeping one foot in the world and one foot in faith will never work. God wants to fill your cup, but if you don’t give Him your whole heart, he can’t overflow it.
So the question is: What will you choose?
Will you settle for a half-empty cup with the world?
Or will you choose an overflowing cup with the Creator of the universe?
