Journey Through the Book of Johnنمونہ
Son Lifted Up
In His powerful conversation with Nicodemus, Jesus reveals the life-changing prophetic truth of Himself being “lifted up.” He draws a parallel to the bronze serpent Moses lifted in the wilderness, declaring that just as the Israelites were healed by looking at the serpent, so too will all who look to the Son of God experience the fullness of life.
We can almost hear the doubt and curiosity in Nicodemus’s questions. Surely, as a Jewish man, he had been taught the story of Moses and the serpent many times before. What a revolutionary truth Jesus was presenting! Could it be that standing before him was the fulfillment of this prophetic word? The concept of being born again could only be revealed to Nicodemus by the Spirit of God. The same is true for us. It is only by looking at Jesus that our eyes are open to see Him as the Savior.
This message is a bold proclamation of God’s love, as highlighted in John 3:16—He sent His Son not to condemn, but to save! This chapter affirms that through Christ’s sacrifice, we are granted new life and divine purpose. Today, declare with conviction, “I am redeemed and empowered through the Son who was lifted up!” Your new identity in Christ is not just a gift; it is your reality! Embrace this truth and allow it to ignite your faith, empowering you to live boldly for Him. Remember, you are called to walk in resurrection power every single day—because the Son has been lifted up for you!
