God's Redemption Story (Judges - 2 Samuel)Örnek
Saul - 5/5
If you read modern books on the subject of leadership, Saul wasn’t a very good leader. Instead of determining the goal, deciding on a plan of action, and leading his people to carry out his ideas, he did what he thought would make the people around him happy. In 1 Samuel 15:24, Saul even confessed he was afraid of the people. And then he rolled them under the bus. When Samuel confronted Saul about keeping spoils he should have destroyed in battle, he blames the people.
We do the same, don’t we? We try to explain to God why our actions should be forgivable. While our sin is never okay, Jesus has already made forgiveness possible. We don’t need to explain or justify, we just need to accept Christ’s gift to us and thank God for his mercy and grace.
