Kids Can Fight Fear

DAY 7 OF 8

When I’m afraid I’ll fail, God will help me.

Sometimes it’s scary to put ourselves out there. What if we try to do something new and fail? What if we’re not good at something? What if it’s too hard? Here’s the great news: even when we are weak, God is strong.

Did you know that God uses regular people to help Him? Moses, for example, was a soft-spoken shepherd with some very bad choices in his past. But God used Moses to save His people when they were slaves in Egypt. Moses was afraid to speak in public, but God helped him. Moses led God’s people to freedom.

Talk It Over: What is something you’re afraid you won’t be good at? Talk about how God can help you.
