Kids Can Fight Fear

DAY 2 OF 8

I trust God instead of worrying.

Every single person in this world has something they worry about. Maybe it’s school, or family, or friends. It can be scary to think about something bad happening. Sometimes, it can even be hard to fall asleep or relax when you can’t stop worrying.

Take comfort. You aren’t alone when you worry! God promises that it is safe for you to give Him your fear. You know why? Because He cares about you! Talk to God and tell Him what makes you worry. Ask Him to help you stop worrying. He’ll help you trust in Him.

Watch the video and have a Sticky Race to help you memorize 1 Peter 5:7. It will help you remember that God loves you and cares about you!

Sticky Race

1. Get a friend, two pieces of paper, two pencils, two pairs of scissors, and some tape.

2. Race your friend to see who can write the whole Bible verse of 1 Peter 5:7 on the paper.

3. Keep racing to see who can cut the words apart first.

4. Finish the race by seeing who can use sticky tape to put the words back together in order.

Talk It Over: God cares about you. How does that comfort you?
