KNOW GOD'S HEART
Read 1 Peter 5:6-11.
This is one of my favorite Bible verses. I guess I love the idea of laying ourselves before God and humbly allowing Him to do whatever it takes to form us into the image of His Son. It might hurt, but the pain is well worth it in the end. Say a prayer using this passage as a guide.
TAKE IT TO HEART
Read 1 Peter 5:10.
Slowly and prayerfully read through today's Scripture. Copy and paste it into an email or text to yourself and/or write it on a 3x5 card and post it where you will see it - on your refrigerator, by your desk, or on your mirror. Hide it in your heart and meditate on it today.
SHARE GOD'S HEART
What if you were to: Wake up to prepare a little breakfast for him in the morning or get him his coffee? Write out a little Scripture verse by his cereal bowl. Walk him to the door, offer to say a prayer for him, and give him a special good-bye kiss? Consider putting on something sexy tonight and greet him at the door when he comes home. If you have children in your household, consider putting something sexy on under your casual clothes...but let him peek and set a time to get together later:-)
