Pearls and Promises for Your MarriageНамуна
KNOW GOD'S HEART
Read 1 Peter 1:13-2:3.
To be holy is to be set apart and to love deeply is to do so earnestly and fervently. How can you prepare your mind for action? In what ways can you deeply love your husband in word and deed that will set you apart from the sinful ways the world tries to do relationships?
TAKE IT TO HEART
Read Philippians 4:8.
Slowly and prayerfully read through today's Scripture. Copy and paste it into an email or text to yourself and/or write it on a 3x5 card and post it where you will see it - on your refrigerator, by your desk, or on your mirror. Hide it in your heart and meditate on it today.
SHARE GOD'S HEART
Think about what is honorable, commendable, and true about your husband. Make a list. Ask the Lord to help you say those things to your husband. Consider your everyday conversation with him. Think about your tone and your heart attitude each time you talk to him. What are you communicating? What does your vocal inflection, tone, and body language say to him? A smile and a gentle voice go a long way.
