Pearls and Promises for Your MarriageНамуна
KNOW GOD'S HEART
Read 1 Peter 2:4'3:6.
Read this passage carefully and then consider your role as a wife in light of what Peter says in verses 2:9-10, 21 and 3:1. What are some key phrases from those verses?
TAKE IT TO HEART
Read 1 Peter 2:20-21.
Slowly and prayerfully read through today's Scripture. Copy and paste it into an email or text to yourself and/or write it on a 3x5 card and post it where you will see it - on your refrigerator, by your desk, or on your mirror. Hide it in your heart and meditate on it today.
SHARE GOD'S HEART
What does your husband love to do that you are not that crazy about? Does he like a certain food that you haven't cooked in a while (or ever)? Does he like to watch war movies or sports, play golf, have his back scratched, or sit and read? Make a plan to acknowledge a few of his favorite things and put some of them on the calendar. Start with something special tonight or sometime this week.
About this Plan
As wives, our call is to love and respect our husbands out of reverence for Christ. Not an easy task! This reading plan will be a great encouragement to you. It will help you look to Christ to deepen your love for your husband, develop a biblical perspective of your role as his wife, instill romance in your relationship, and strengthen your walk with Him!
