Week 4: The Human JourneyНамуна

When we look at Jesus, we see the fullness of God. He isn’t a lesser version of God or a hero who acts godlike; he is the eternal Son of God, fully divine and fully human. By looking at him, we can discover our own identity as those who reflect God’s image.
Though we often fall short of reflecting his image, Jesus’s unique nature—both fully God and fully human—gives us hope in two ways:
First, we can be reconciled to God, which means that even though we may struggle to live out our true identity and purpose, Jesus fulfilled this on our behalf and gave us the gift of life through him.
Second, we can have a personal relationship with God because he chose to live among us by becoming human.
In light of these truths, let’s embrace our calling as image bearers and step into the fullness of life that Jesus offers us.
