6. Use all digital platforms to glorify God and make disciples

Digital platforms are great tools for evangelism. The command to "go and make disciples of all nations" in (Matthew 28:19-20) is a direct command from Jesus Christ. It focuses on Jesus' instructions to His followers to spread His teachings and baptize people in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; teaching them to obey all that He has commanded. Platforms, like social media, websites, and blogs, allow messages to reach a global audience instantly. Perhaps, you are not called to be a Pastor or a Minister, but your life is your testimony. You do not necessarily have to preach on a pulpit to get the message across. Where you are currently in life is your pulpit. Share the gospel! Your interactions and work ethics also reflect your faith. Your social media should reflect your faith too.

(i). Post Biblical Content Online (Romans 1:16)
Share daily Bible verses, prayers, or inspirational quotes that provide encouragement and reflection for your followers. In today’s world, where everything is online and everyone’s thoughts can be shared globally, posting daily Bible verses, prayers, or inspirational quotes is an effective way to spread hope and encouragement. Do not be ashamed of the gospel! Sharing the word of God will help fight depression, anxiety, stress, doubts, fear, and all kinds of negativity that most people experience today. No self-help book in the world can do what the Word of God can do.

(ii). Engage in a Group Bible Study Online (Matthew 18:19-20)
We cannot do life alone; God wants us to be part of a community. Matthew 18:19-20 highlights the power and presence of God when we come together whether in person or virtually. Due to the busyness of the world, we live in, sometimes it is harder to meet people in person. Even it gets harder with video conferencing. However, social media platforms are a great tool to engage in Bible study groups. You can share what you have learned and build a community that way to share content and help keep you on track. There are a lot of Biblical resources, we simply need to explore and utilize them in the most powerful way.

(iii). Promote a Charity on Social Media
Invest in meaningful initiatives such as helping feed a hungry child; providing clothing to the poor or supporting charities that work to make education accessible, and reduce poverty. It could be in your own country or perhaps a third-world country. These actions reflect the compassion that Jesus Christ showed during His time on Earth. He cared deeply for the less fortunate and acted to help them. Why should not we follow His example? We do not need thousands of dollars to start. Sometimes posting about a cause helps people support the cause and become part of a greater purpose. By promoting a charity or a cause, you can use your social media pages to shed light on significant worldwide challenges and encourage your followers to contribute to that charity. This is not just about collecting funds, but about raising awareness and inspiring others to take action.
