The Purpose Decision: The Power of the Holy Spirit

When we decide to share our faith with others, it's important to remember that we're not doing it alone. Jesus promised in Acts 1:8 that the Holy Spirit will give us power to be His witnesses. The power of the Holy Spirit is not just a small boost; it's like supernatural dynamite! It can break through tough situations and hearts.

The Holy Spirit gives us the strength to push through our fears and guides our words and actions. When we choose to be available and obedient to Him, He takes care of the results. We don’t have to have it all figured out. What matters is that we step out and trust God to work in the hearts of those around us.

Prayer also helps prepare our hearts, just like an athlete trains before a big game. It helps us recognize opportunities and gives us the courage to speak boldly when the time comes. When you pray, ask God to open your eyes to the needs of those around you. Pray for the wisdom to know how to share His love, and ask God to fill you with the power of the Holy Spirit. The more we pray, the more we’re ready to live out the mission God has given us.

Through the power of His Spirit, you can be ready to step into the moments He prepares for you to share your faith.
