Holy Song: 3-Day Devotional With Bethel MusicНамуна
Read the Scripture, listen for a word or phrase that the Holy Spirit highlights for you. Write that word or phrase down.
I looked again. I saw a huge crowd, too huge to count. Everyone was there—all nations and tribes, all races and languages. And they were standing, dressed in white robes and waving palm branches, standing before the Throne and the Lamb and heartily singing: Salvation to our God on his Throne! Salvation to the Lamb! All who were standing around the Throne—Angels, Elders, Animals—fell on their faces before the Throne and worshiped God, singing: "Oh, Yes! The blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving, The honor and power and strength, To our God forever and ever and ever! Oh, Yes!” Revelation 7:9-12 (MSG)
And they were calling to one another: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory.” Isaiah 6:3 (NIV)
Now listen to the song and consider how it carries the message of Revelation 7:9-12 + Isaiah 6:3.
Read the lyrics. Ask the Holy Spirit to highlight a word or phrase for your reflection.
Verse Three:
What beauty to behold there before the throne
As all of earth and heaven hail the King
The Lion and the Lamb, our God the Great I AM
To You alone our song forever be
To You alone our song forever be
Chorus:
Holy, holy, holy,
Is the Lord God Almighty
Worthy, worthy, worthy.
All of the earth is full of your Glory
RESPONSE:
Scripture reveals another vision of the throne in Revelation, yet this one comes from a broader vantage point. Not only do we see the angelic beings of Isaiah’s vision, but John vividly portrays a multitude from every nation, tribe, and tongue standing before the throne, unified in their voice of praise: “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!”
John’s vision is more than a prophetic glimpse of the culmination of worship in heaven—it is an invitation to us here and now. We are called to respond, to align our hearts with the eternal chorus of praise that echoes through eternity. To know that this kind of worship can happen even now; not only in the glory of heaven but here on earth. The vastness of this scene is not confined to a future moment but reaches into the present, calling us to become more aware of the fullness of God’s presence today.
As we learn to dwell with God and recognize the truth of His indwelling within us, we begin to see this ultimate reality unfold: God’s presence filling everything, everywhere with His goodness and holiness. His holiness is not some distant future event but an ever-present reality. It is a glory that fills the earth, even now.
Our response—both now and forever—is one of adoration and worship. The earth is already filled with His glory, and every moment, every breath, becomes an opportunity to behold it. We must respond.
PRAYER:
Lord Almighty, You alone are holy. We bow before You, joining the unending cry of heaven: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty.”
Open our eyes to see Your glory that fills the earth, and draw us deeper into Your presence. May our lives reflect Your holiness as we stand in awe of who You are. Teach us to worship You–to join in the chorus of praise resounding before You. To live in light of Your glory and grace. Let our hearts forever declare Your worthiness, now and for all eternity. Amen.
