Divine Preparations for Kingdom Professionals

DAY 2 OF 31

PROPHETIC PREPARATION: THE PRACTICAL PATH TO DESTINY

Life has two sides—the prophetic and the practical. The prophetic side is the divine aspect of your life, and God often uses practical experiences to prepare you for it. Many people miss stepping into their prophetic destiny because they overlook the practical steps needed to reach it.

For some, Bible study might seem ordinary, but for those whom God is preparing for the future, it is where they gather the tools and materials necessary for that future. How you interpret your current season determines whether you will progress to the next.

Take Esther, for example. She was an orphan under Mordecai's care, yet the Bible doesn’t mention what became of Mordecai’s own children. Why? Because Mordecai wasn’t their destiny coach. While Esther was absorbing the wisdom that would prepare her for greatness, they might have taken him for granted.

My wife often says she was my first student. When she says that, it is not to flatter me or boost my ego. In the early days of our ministry, I would take them to the village, and we would spend three days on a mountain. Although we were engaged at the time, she didn’t treat me as just her fiancé; she fully embraced the training program. She could have chosen not to take that season seriously, but now she’s reaping the rewards of committing to that destiny-preparation process.

Prayer: Dear Lord, give me the understanding to identify the practical things You are currently using to prepare me for my prophetic destiny in Jesus’ name.
