Divine Preparations for Kingdom Professionals

DAY 6 OF 31

THE CALL TO PREPARE AS A DANIEL

The way God works with His people is that encountering what you are anointed for will ignite a stirring in your spirit. What causes fear in others should awaken something powerful in the chosen individual.

When David came to the battlefield in 1 Samuel 17, everyone who heard Goliath was not ready for him. Even though they were facing him, all the Israelites in Saul's army, including Saul, were not chosen for Goliath.

Even though they were armed, every time Goliath spoke, fear gripped them, and they recoiled. David, however, arrived in the field to deliver cheese and provisions for his brothers. When Goliath began challenging the Israelites, David heard him and felt a stirring within him. This reaction is a sign that he was anointed for it. Recognizing these signals means it is time to prepare, whether it is a job, an opportunity, or any significant challenge. There is nothing more shameful and tragic than facing your moment unprepared.

The brothers of David were not ready for Goliath because they were not chosen for Goliath, but David was prepared for him. All his preparations for fighting the lion and the bear met the purpose, and he was ready for his day. Will you be ready for your day?

Prayer: Dear Lord, help me to consistently walk in the accuracy of my preparation to be ready for my day in Jesus’ name.
