Today's Words, Tomorrow's Harvests

DAY 4 OF 7

What Have I Been Saying To Myself?

It's one thing to know what I should do, but it's another thing to actually do it. To use self talk to my advantage, I have to be honest with myself. Please thoughtfully respond to the following situation and questions:

Situation: Imagine your self talk can be heard by your closest friend and answer the following questions:

Question #1: Would my friend classify my typical self talk as predominantly supportive or destructive?

Question #2: How would my friend describe alignment of my typical self talk with God's Word?

Question #3: What evidence in my life could my friend use to identify the impacts of my typical self talk?

Reflections: Considering Questions #2 and 3, how does my self talk explain where I am in respect to my desired future? How satisfied am I with where I am in respect to my desired future?

If you're dissatisfied, no worries. If you know you need help in aligning your self talk with God's Word, the next lesson is for you. It provides a framework for accelerating your ability to consistently plant life-giving words. These words, rooted in God's Word, will yield harvests of godly success without sorrow.
