Jesus is the Lord of our salvation

The Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18). The One that is our (my); Salvation (Psalm 38:22). The One that is the Atoning Sacrifice for our Sins (1 John 2:2). The Redeemer (Isaiah 59:20). The Saviour of the World (1 John 4:14). Ransom (Mark 10:45).

Jesus came to save us from our sins. Luke 5:32 says He came for sinners: I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance. In 1 Timothy 1:15, we read: The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost.
