The Fatherhood of God

DAY 2 OF 3

CHOSEN BY THE FATHER

When Apostle Paul wrote of adoption, he addressed an audience that understood that adoption involved a deliberate process of selection and choice.

God selected you as His own and joined you to Himself through Christ. He has given you His name. God has given you His Word and placed His Spirit in you. Through this union with Him, His possibilities are your possibilities! You are as limitless as your Father!

“ For he knew all about us before we were born and he destined us from the beginning to share the likeness of his Son. This means the Son is the oldest among a vast family of brothers and sisters who will become just like him. Having determined our destiny ahead of time, he called us to himself and transferred his perfect righteousness to everyone he called. And those who possess his perfect righteousness he co-glorified with his Son!”. - Romans 8:29-30 TPT

Dearly Beloved, if you ever experience a feeling of condemnation or fear, simply look to the word of God and remind yourself that you were chosen by the Father, just as you are, to be His – adopted, blood begotten, and irrevocably redeemed. God does not love you because Jesus died for you; Jesus died for you because God loves you. If you were the only one on earth, Jesus would have still died.

“But God put his love on the line for us by offering his Son in sacrificial death while we were of no use whatever to him”. - Romans 5:8 MSG

You were deliberately handpicked by the Father!

Declaration:

God is my Father.

As He is, so am I.

His greatness is for my benefit, even here and now.

I am passionately loved by God.

I enjoy angelic assistance.

I am irrevocably blessed.

God’s possibilities are my possibilities.

I live in the greatness of my Father.

Grace is working for me!
