Preparing for Marriage Biblically

DAY 9 OF 31

THE ADAM-PROTOTYPE FOR MALES

Parents must know the training they must give their sons. Before a son is released into life, he must have been brought up to master femininity so that he is not controlled. Such a son is not a bully, but he is not easily manipulated either. He is focused, strong, and stable; he administers femininity and is not manipulated by it. Many men are receiving twistedness instead of assistance from their wives. You need to ask the lady in your life, “Are you assisting me or twisting me?”

For Adam, God didn’t bring a woman into his life the same day he was formed even though he was formed as a mature, grown man. God allowed him to live alone for a certain period to know Him (God), have a pattern of a relationship with Him, have an assignment, things, an identity, know where he is going, what he is doing, and establish a walk with Him (God) because that is God’s foundation on the earth.

It was after Adam was established in these that God said it was not good for him to live alone and brought a woman into his life. The woman was to be a help suitable to join him to continue to do what God was already doing in his life, not to twist him.

PRAYER

Husband: Lord, I receive the strength needed to lead my home and administer it effectively as Jesus administers the Church, in Jesus’ name. Amen!

Wife: Lord, give my husband the strength needed to lead our home and administer it effectively as Jesus administers the Church, in Jesus’ name. Amen!

About this Plan

Preparing for Marriage Biblically

Too many people today do little or no preparation when it comes to marriage; instead focusing their energy on a one-day wedding event! The Bible says, "Two are better than one, for they have a better reward!" For these results and rewards to follow your marriage, there is a preparation phase before marriage because it is when preparation and opportunity meet together that destinies happen.
