Every Woman's Story: PeaceНамуна

Is it faith before peace?
When was the last time you dared to believe God for something really big? Maybe you’ve stopped believing. There is no question that believing big is risky. Many people would say to think small and take matters into your own hands.
The problem is that once you do that, it will always be up to you to make things happen, keep all the balls in the air, and do your own saving. Spoiler alert: This isn’t possible.
The woman in the passage believed Jesus for something big she could not do. Jesus saw her faith and answered. Then he sent her in peace, true peace because she could let go of trying to do it all.
Act
Find a video of someone spinning plates. Notice the tension of trying to keep it all going. Do you feel that stress?
Pray
God, help me see my limits and believe you for big things. Help me remember that you are bigger than I can fathom.
Scripture
About this Plan

When life gets to be too much, we start scrambling for peace. We look for something, anything, that will stop the feeling of being overwhelmed. We often look for peace in the wrong places. It never lasts. Most of it does harm. God isn’t stingy with peace. Like a cool sip of water on a hot day, he will refresh us amid the overwhelming and the hard.
