Rule Book of Life - the BibleНамуна
5:16 LIGHT or DARK
We play under the lights each night - bright lights where nothing is hidden. Every call we make is analyzed and scrutinized. The pressure is high, and we are called to remain patient and calm and let plays come to us. That is very difficult; a huge challenge to us. But with the Lord, all things are possible. Rather than walking in the darkness, it is much easier to walk in the light. As we read in Isaiah 9:1 - the people who walked in darkness have seen a GREAT light.
So, how often do we pray when we arrive at an arena? How often do we pray before we take the floor? How often do we pray before we throw the ball up? How often do we pray at the end of each period/half? How often do we pray with our crew? The Lord calls us to shine our light before others. Not in an arrogant or audacious way; but in a humble way. Let us remember this season to let our light shine before all we encounter on each & every day of the season.
How can we share the light and love of Christ each night of the season?
What good deeds can we do this season for those who assist us on game day?

About this Plan
Sports officials are charged with enforcing the rules as written. We may not like all the rules but our job is to enforce every rule. Jesus says in John 14:15 - “If you love me, you will keep my commandments.” We don’t get to pick & choose what to follow. Let’s look at some verses that help us to stay on the path of “keeping the rule book of life.”
