Through the Bible: Ezekiel

DAY 16 OF 17

Let’s Get Excited Everyday!

When the people of the land come before the Lord at the appointed feasts, he who enters by the north gate to worship shall go out by the south gate, and he who enters by the south gate shall go out by the north gate: no one shall return by way of the gate by which he entered, but each shall go out straight ahead. When they enter, the prince shall enter with them, and when they go out, he shall go out.
‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭46:9-10‬ ‭(ESV‬‬‬‬‬‬)‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

There must be a reason for the Lord to command the people not to leave from the same place that they entered when they came to celebrate an appointed feast.

I believe that when a person has a real encounter with God, he should not be the same again for the promises of God are as follows: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest; If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink and out of his heart will flow rivers of living water; He will wipe away every tears from our eyes; Our head will be lifted up above our enemies around us and we are being transformed into the same image as Jesus from glory to glory.”

There is elevation for us every time we meet with Jesus. Spending time with him in our daily devotion should be our highlight and climax of the day!.

Prayer

Dear Jesus, we thank You that You are always here to meet with us and always ready to elevate us higher every time we come before You. We love You, Jesus. In Your name we pray, Amen.

About this Plan

Through the Bible: Ezekiel

By the river Chebar, Ezekiel prophesied both judgement and hope to the exiles of Judah, who were just removed from the Promised Land. Although the people cried out, “Our bones are dried up and our hope is lost,” Ezekiel reassured them that God would always provide a way to restore His people. Punishment is grueling, but sometimes it is meant to bring us back to repentance and humility before God.
