A God-Centered Knowledge 

Hosea 4:6a

My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge.

The knowledge that Hosea was talking about is not merely about social study, math or science. This was about the spiritual knowledge of God and His will. The knowledge that can only come by faith in something that God reveals. It was God-centered knowledge.

This knowledge can be easily gotten from the Bible as the Bible is God’s word. If we understand and acknowledge the God-centered knowledge, we will be fully prepared to face our life with its challenges. We know that we have something that we are holding on to that helps us to keep going despite the challenges, so that we will be victorious. 

Without the word of God, we will easily get lost in the storm of our life, becoming hopeless and lonely. The lack in spiritual knowledge leads to disappointment in our life as we will seek the wrong goals and make the wrong decisions that might cost our future.

Never reject the knowledge of truth and the wisdom that we have received from God. God-centered knowledge is so powerful.

Prayer

Dear God, I want to keep looking to You moment by moment. Teach me Your way daily, oh Lord. Amen.
