Help Me, Lord!
Isaiah 38:16
Lord, use this hard time to make my spirit live again. Help my spirit become strong and healthy. Help me become well! Help me live again!
Isaiah visited King Hezekiah who was sick. He conveyed a message from God that King Hezekiah was going to die due to his illness. Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed. He shed many tears as he prayed to God to help him without hesitation. He begged God to heal him and let him live again.
God heard Hezekiah’s prayer and saw his tears. His prayer moved God’s heart. God answered his prayer. God granted Hezekiah fifteen more years of life.
Be like Hezekiah. Go to God straightaway. There is power in prayer. Prayer cannot ever be underestimated. Don’t be tempted to lean on your own understanding. Do not take matters into your own hands. Show God a humble, repentant attitude and heart. This is what pleases Him.
The more we read the Bible, the better we will know God and the easier it is for you to trust God. Let GOD be the first name that pops up in your mind in every situation you are having.
Prayer
Dear God, I want You to be my number one in my heart and mind. I know You will help me each time I call You. Amen.
