Hidden Treasures in Darkness
Isaiah 45:3a
I will give you the wealth that is stored away. And I will give you hidden riches.
Pearls are very precious and expensive. Pearls can be found inside oysters. Some pearl oysters can be found in the water at a depth of 5 to 7 feet from the surface, but divers often have to go 40 to 125 feet deep to find enough pearl oysters. The deeper the sea, the darker and more dangerous it is for the divers. However, when they finally get the pearl, it’s like getting a hidden treasure!
There is always a hidden treasure in every life lesson you have. For example, during the Home-Based Learning period, Alice had to spend lots of time at home. She felt bored. However, it is during that time that she tried on new things and realized she has a talent for baking. Since then, she has been baking and selling some delicious cookies.
Our ultimate hidden treasure is absolutely God’s blessings. We do not only find God’s blessings in good times. Even in the darkest and hardest times of our lives, we will find God’s blessing.
Prayer
Dear God, having You as my Savior and God is absolutely my treasure. I am excited to open the hidden treasure that You’ve prepared for me, one after another. Amen.
