Day 7 - Putting It All Together
Hello!!! We are so happy that you have made it to the last day of our plan. We hope that you have absolutely loved learning how to make your devotional times the best that they can be. For our last day, we are going to be looking at how to put everything that we have learned together.
The real secret here is that everyone’s devotional times are going to look different. Sometimes people like to read the bible for 10 minutes to connect with God and sometimes people like to listen to worship music for an hour. What it looks like for you doesn't matter as long as it is daily and always connects you to God.
The best thing you can do for your devotional times is to talk about them with people in your world. Friends, family, and small groups are perfect places to share what God is doing in your life through your devotional times. You will encourage others in their devotional times and hear what God is doing in their worlds as well as be encouraged by others' stories. It’s a great way to grow in your faith.
As you have devotional times, you will learn more and more about what works best for you so just start somewhere and make sure that you are always open to hearing from God. Start experimenting with your devotional times! They don’t always need to look the same. Maybe today you can read the Bible and pray and then tomorrow you can spend a good chunk of time just worshipping God.
Thanks so much for joining us in making our devotional times with God better and better each day. Don’t forget to put what we have learned into action every day. Praying, reading, worshipping, and meditating - the list goes on. Just make sure that whatever you do always brings you closer to God.
God bless.
