1–2 Peter: A 10-Day Devotional Reading PlanНамуна
Christ, the Victor
Peter wants us to keep our Lord’s suffering in view as we face the pain of injustice or mistreatment, but it’s just as vital to remember the outcome. Christ’s story ended in triumph, and that’s why we can be confident that our own suffering isn’t the end of our story either.
Reflection:
Peter wants us to get that Christ’s victory over suffering is meant to give us hope in the midst of our own suffering and actually change the way we live. Look at Romans 6:3–4 and Ephesians 2:4–7 and explain how Christ’s victory changes us practically. How does it encourage you personally in a current trial or struggle?
