Christmas in 3 ActsНамуна
Experience
Hebrews 11 gives us this beautiful picture of being surrounded by a “cloud of witnesses”. These biblical characters who through the generations have inspired faith despite some of the most challenging and demanding of situations.
Create your own visual “cloud of witnesses”—people, both living and dead who have enacted faith for you.
If you have Post-It Notes—write a name on each one and stick them on the walls around the room. Leave them there for a few days. As you sit in that room take the time to thank God for these people who have inspired faith and mission in you.
If you have children let them see the names and get some time for them to hear the stories about these people.
Practice
Many Christians do visualise “putting on the armour of God” each morning. If you haven’t done that recently maybe incorporate that into your morning pattern. As you pray and visualise that armour, let it reassure you and prepare you for the demands and challenges ahead.
Question
Who are you actively mentoring in the faith at the moment?
Prayer
I choose to engage in this fight, knowing that You can defeat the dragon.

About this Plan
In this Advent Infinitum Series, we will be using the themes of Tragedy, Comedy and Fairytale. They will act as doorways into a deeper understanding of surrender, generosity, and mission. Each theme lasts 7 days. The first day will be an introduction. Days 2 to 6 will give you a reading, an experience, a practice, a question, and a prayer. Day 7 is Sabbath, consolidation, review, and recollection.
