Hearing God's VoiceНамуна
When it comes to hearing from God, you can hear from God every single day. However, I think one of the primary ways we hear from God is something that, for many of us, has become so familiar and so accessible that we’ve forgotten its importance.
Some of you can probably already tell where we’re going here—the Bible. The Bible is one of the primary ways we can hear from God.
In the Old Testament, God spoke through visions, dreams, angels, through the prophets, through laws and writings, and directly to people such as Moses.
And I think that’s what a lot of people today look for when they say they want to hear from God.
However, the author of Hebrews says “And now in these final days, he has spoken to us through his Son” (v2).
The New Testament contains the biographies of Jesus, as well as other letters and writings. We need to read Jesus’ teachings and figure out what it looks like to follow him. All of this has been preserved and passed down through time so that you and I can read what God said to others long ago.
God can use that same living wisdom, insight, guidance, and teaching to speak to you today.
You are half-way through this reading plan! But, here’s my challenge to you. Make reading your Bible a daily thing. Not just a 10-days-a-month thing.

About this Plan
God wants to speak to you. However, many of our lives are too noisy and busy to hear from Him. He speaks and we miss it. Or, we don't know what to look or listen for. Over the next ten days, we'll explore some of the different ways God speaks, as well as some ways to ready ourselves so that, when he does speak, we're ready to hear.
