Generally the things that we are afraid of, we are afraid of in the dark. When the light chases out the dark, the fear readily disappears, as well. The Lord has continually given His light for every situation on Earth; therefore there is absolutely no reason to be afraid and there is absolutely nothing to fear. Dealing with fear is an issue of pure-gold importance and value.

In order to become the pure-gold lampstand in the house of the Lord, you must allow the Lord to help you overcome your fear and be in perpetual remembrance that the Lord is your light. If fear has paralyzed your life and stolen your ability to move ahead with your plans and dreams, remember that it is the Lord who lights your way, one golden step at a time.

Just as the mercy seat was a foreshadowing of the work and Person of Jesus Christ, the same prophetic personification is evident in the pure-gold lampstand.

The presence of Jesus Christ assured the world, which was darkened by sin and failure, that never again would people walk in darkness. Jesus shines brighter than the sun, the moon, and the stars, and He is well able to rid your life of darkness and of fear. He came so that darkness would no longer cause you to fall or walk in fear.

Light changes everything for a people who have only known bleak, black darkness. No longer are we a people who are horrified by what might be lurking around the next corner or petrified by the inky black of living a life of sin, but we have experienced the God who declared over the universe, “Let there be light!”

His divine presence, which always includes light, changes everything for you! Darkness is incapable of cloaking decisions, purpose, or destiny. God has promised to shine His light on every dark area that attempts to swallow your life; He has promised not to leave this promise of light and destiny undone in your life.
