The blessings of living in a multiple-choice culture are obvious; the curses less so. With the ever-changing winds of choice, there is always the promise of something new, and rarely a thought for something lost. The virtues of commitment, honor, and persistence are long gone … gone with the winds. Rather than submitting to disciplines and enduring hardship, many just walk away; away from a church, a family, a promise.

We live in a culture that cannot make up its mind. Surrounded by a million broken vows, the Christian stands to remind the world that there are some choices we make only once … and forever.
