Living the Blessed Life | Don't Get Discouraged

All of us have areas in our lives we’re still working on. No two people are ever in the exact same place in their lives. So when you look at someone else who is achieving victory in an area of life, don’t get discouraged and give up. Instead, look at them and be encouraged. Continue to trust God even when you don’t see the results. Whatever it is you’re waiting for, say to yourself, “If God can do it for him, He can do it for me!”

The Bible gives a clear picture of how God the Father views you as a child of God. He completely loves you and forgives you. You are precious and beautiful to Him. In His eyes, you’re more than a conqueror. He makes sure that everything works out for your good.

So, don’t allow yourself to get discouraged. Keep on doing good. Keep on sowing seeds, but remember that seeds need to be protected. Recognize the enemy and know that he is always after you with arguments and reasons not to trust God. Keep your focus on God and on doing the right thing. You will be blessed for doing good. God loves you and promises He will reward you if you stay the course and don’t give up or lose heart.
