Save the DateНамуна
When most of us look in the mirror, we immediately see something we want to change or fix about ourselves. We talk about our bodies and what we see in a way we would never let anyone else talk about us. For whatever reason, it’s easy to look down on ourselves, talk badly about ourselves, and let that attitude affect how we treat ourselves.
In this letter from Paul to the Corinthians, he reminds us how valuable we really are. He says we were bought with a price. In other words, Jesus, even though He did nothing wrong, was willing to die so we could understand how big God’s love is for us. That shows us how valuable we are to Him. And when we understand how God sees and values us, we can begin to see and value ourselves in the same way.
This week, ask yourself: How can I honor God with my body? How can I treat myself like the valuable person I am?
