Good News of our Good God

In God’s kindness, He sent Jesus to earth in the form of a baby.  Christians  celebrate His birth on Christmas. day.  Jesus, who was God in human form,  grew into manhood and never sinned!  When Jesus was 33 years old, out of love for you, He willingly took the punishment for your sins when He died a horrible death on the cross. Can you imagine loving someone so much that you sacrifice your life so they wouldn't have to suffer the consequences for their wrong doing? Jesus did that, for not just you, but for everyone who believes in Him! That's good news!  That's a good God!

But, there is even more  good news to celebrate!  Easter is the time Christians all over the world set aside to slow down and remember that  Jesus didn't stay in the grave! He was raised back to life after three days. Jesus is alive! You can also come alive by  believing and trusting in Jesus Christ. Then, the Holy Spirit of our good God comes alive in your life to give you a "hope and a future!" The Holy Spirit will guide, teach, love and encourage you.  He will bring you inner peace, joy and hope!

Spring feels like a time of new beginnings. Trees and flowers that appear to be dead in the winter take on new life as leaves and flowers begin to bloom! You can have spring in your heart all year round when our good God  lives in you. 

"This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! " 2 Corinthians 5:17 NLT

This Easter let the life of Christ come alive and bloom in you!  Not only will you live life with purpose and hope here on earth but  you'll live forever in heaven! We serve a good God and Easter is a time to celebrate His goodness. Now, that's good news!
