Unknown Frontiers

DAY 7 OF 7

THE FINAL FRONTIER - JESUS IS ALL YOU NEED

How do we face new frontiers? How do we face unknown territory in this life? The answer is very simple – by putting our hand in the hand of God, living one day at a time and realising that Jesus is all we need.

They asked Martin Luther, the great reformer, what he would do if he knew Jesus Christ was coming back the next day. He replied, “I would still plant my apple tree.“ In other words, he would continue to share the Gospel until Jesus came.

Peter continued to feed the sheep until the Lord called him home. Similarly, you and I need to carry on doing what Jesus has told us to do, knowing full well our reward is not here on earth, but is waiting for us in glory. We need to keep on keeping on, taking one day at a time, rejoicing in the fact that our names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. There is no frontier, no unknown, uncharted territory we need to fear if we know that Jesus Christ is with us.

You see, my friend, we never really arrive until we are home with Jesus. That is the final frontier. Thank God that there is One who knows the way to eternal life: Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God. He said, “I am the gate; whoever enters through Me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture” John 10:9

So bottom line is: don’t wait until you reach that frontier before you get back to Jesus. Make sure that you are walking with the greatest Conqueror who ever lived!

About this Plan

Unknown Frontiers

If you were asked the question “Is Jesus enough for you?”, would you be able to say that you live every day for the Lord Jesus Christ? In this 7-day reading plan evangelist and well - known author Angus Buchan asks this question, reminding us that our reason for being on earth is to honour the Lord, especially during times and seasons with unknown frontiers.
