THE EXCELLENCE OF WISDOM
Jesus says to me and you today that we are to seek wisdom before fine gold or silver.
It is the fear of God that is wisdom, and the departing from evil that is good understanding. Job 28:28
Wisdom is to be sought after more than any material thing. We should always ask ourselves the question: "What would Jesus do in this unknown situation?" We should have the faith and courage to follow through on the decision made.
There are just so many different opinions in the marketplace today, and it can be very confusing to say the least, if not downright scary.
Do I go into business with that person or not? Is it better for me to leave or to stay? To buy, or to sell? To invest or to consolidate? Should I have the operation, or do I trust God for my healing?
At the end of the day it is our decision to make and no one else can make these life changing decisions for us. That is why you and I need to have good quiet times each morning, so that Jesus can direct our paths through the unknown and give us His wisdom through His 'Word', the Bible, and through prayer, and meditation (Waiting upon Him in peace and quiet) for direction.
Then, we can go out with confidence and face the new day, the unknown frontier, knowing that He goes before us. Hallelujah!

About this Plan
If you were asked the question “Is Jesus enough for you?”, would you be able to say that you live every day for the Lord Jesus Christ? In this 7-day reading plan evangelist and well - known author Angus Buchan asks this question, reminding us that our reason for being on earth is to honour the Lord, especially during times and seasons with unknown frontiers.
