There is endless hope to be discovered in the person of Jesus. Only a Savior could bring people from life-threatening places to life-giving spaces. That’s what Jesus did. His life was not an example to live up to but the example of our best selves. Perhaps the challenge you experience that is threatening your ability to live out the fulness of life has become very complicated. Don’t give up! This hope powerfully works to bring you the space in which to put off the weights of challenge in exchange for freedom.

Pick up something heavy and hold it for one minute. This represents the weight you carry. Once the time has passed, invite Jesus to give you freedom, and in doing so, carefully put down the weight as a sign of exchange.
